Our Vision

To become the unifying platform for nurturing and sustaining a vibrant Muslim community in the Greater Birmingham area, and to help improve the quality of life for society at large.

Our Mission

The mission is to enhance the quality of Iman (faith) and the application of Islam in the Greater Birmingham area. To this end, Birmingham Islamic Society is committed to:

Help the Muslims embrace Islamic values, and fulfill their responsibilities.
Engage, educate and mentor Muslim youths, and develop potential generations of leaders.
Involve and unite the Muslim community at large, and to build bridges with outside communities.
Provide and maintain comprehensive services to the Muslims.
Promote a better understanding of Islam among non-Muslims, and participate in local and national politics and community.
